It seemed like half of Iowa was on stage last night at the Fux Channel's Rethuglican candidates' "debate." No fewer than 8 announced candidates showed up en masse, thereby testing the weight load limits of the stage. Call it the "Crazy Eyes and the Seven Dwarfs" debate.
Full disclosure: instead of the "debate," we were watching some episode of the "World's Dumbest", which was likely an improvement on the Rethuglican fibfest. Fortunately, Think Progress watched it so we didn't have to, and they have the moment-to-moment lowlights captured. Our favorite was when Michele "Minnesota Loon" Bachmann claimed credit (at 9:20 p.m.) for introducing the "Light Bulb Freedom of Choice Act." Bwahahaha! Good to have a dim bulb weigh in on light bulbs as her signature accomplishment!
