The Beltway media and teatard movement are clutching their pearls and rushing to the fainting couch over remarks made by Teamsters President James Hoffa in Detroit yesterday. Hoffa was warming up a crowd of some 13,000 for President Obama, when he got on the subject of the so-called Tea Party:
“Everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back and keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these son of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong! Thank you very much!”When you consider the "take these son of a bitches out" in the context of voting, it's rough speech, but it's not the call to violence that the usual "centrist" media suspects are claiming. Yes, it would have been better to have used "vote" instead of "take," but the whole Beltway media approach once again is that it's acceptable to speak this way if you're an angry teabagger, but not if you oppose them.
