-- Kara Kennedy, 51, Sen. Ted Kennedy's oldest daughter, of a possible heart attack; she had been battling cancer for some time.
-- Eleanor Mondale, 51, daughter of former VP Walter Mondale, of brain cancer.
-- Charles "Chuck" Percy, 91, Former Illinois Republican Senator back when the Republican Party actually had reasonable, moderate people in its leadership.
