Sadly, there's growing evidence that the move was a bow to hard-right anti-choice groups, orchestrated with Brinker's support by Komen VP and anti-abortion activist Karen Handel. Happily, many people, including New York Mayor Bloomberg, are stepping up and contributing to Planned Parenthood so that they can continue their breast screening activities.
