London Listening


Those who may have thought that we've seen the end of the phone hacking and bribery scandal surrounding the media empire of Rupert "Aargh" Murdoch were wrong. Yesterday, James "Can You Hear Me Now?" Murdoch was forced to step down as the Chairman of News International, the British arm of News Corp. New evidence has surfaced of a network of corrupted public officials that took bribes from officials in the Murdoch empire. Can You Hear Me Now's flight to the U.S. protects him from some legal exposure in Britain, but there's word that the FBI is investigating possible violations of the Corrrupt Practices Act that may yet bring the whole criminal enterprise down.
