Fenway Park, Happy 100th Birthday

The iconic home of the Boston Red Sox turns 100 years old today. Along with Chicago's Wrigley Field (a mere 98 years old), Fenway Park is "sacred ground" for baseball, and one of the true treasures of Americana. Its "Green Monster" wall in left field may be the best known structure in sports. Sadly, many old historic ballparks are gone -- Ebbets Field, Comiskey Park, Forbes Field, the list goes on -- but Fenway will stand for a very long time to come.
