The Atlantic's James Fallows looks at data on whether a political candidate is receiving largely positive or largely negative coverage. You wouldn't know by listening to Rethuglicans and their enablers in the mainstream media (hi, Politico!) that bully barber Willard "Job Slayer" Romney gets far more positive treatment from the press than does President Obama. Fallows concludes:
"You can argue that negative coverage of the administration is justified. You can argue that incumbents are -- and should be -- held to a tougher standard, since they have a record to defend. But you can't sanely argue that the press is in the tank for Obama, notwithstanding recent 'false equivalence' attempts to do so."Another story you won't see covered in the "liberal" media.
