Demoted But Still Delusional

Two weeks after the voters of Florida's 18th district kicked him out, tea bagger hero Rep. Allen "Commies in Congress" West has finally conceded defeat. When it became clear that continued recounts of the ballots was producing even bigger margins of victory for Rep.-elect Patrick Murphy, West, a disgraced Iraq War veteran who barely escaped court martial, decided that further challenges were fruitless.

The defeat of nut cases like West and Joe Walsh was one of the encouraging by-products of the 2012 election. While they won't be the last of the crazies to emerge, thanks to Congressional redistricting, their numbers are in decline as more and more voters reject their extremism.
