"Tailgunner Ted" Cruz, Canuck

It's amusing to us that radical Rethuglican right-winger Sen. "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz (Secessionville-TX), while being born in Canada to a mother who was a U.S. citizen, isn't facing the nativist, racist outcry of the teabagger community that President Obama (his mother a U.S. citizen) faced. Indeed, to date, Tailgunner Ted hasn't renounced his Canadian citizenship (by virtue of his birthplace).

So, if Tailgunner Ted is a bona fide U.S. citizen by virtue of his mother's citizenship, then wouldn't President Obama also be a U.S. citizen, no matter if he was born in Honolulu, Nairobi or Kathmandu?  Of course he would.  But don't tell that to the racist, delusional wingnuts that continue to believe that the President is a "foreigner."
