Lizard's Family Values

Former (Vice) President and Iraq War con man Dick "The Dick" Cheney's very nasty hatchling Liz "Lizard" Cheney is losing ground in her Wyoming primary challenge to fellow Rethuglican Sen. Mike Enzi, despite running to his right (that's a mean trick, given Enzi's ultra-conservatism).  Her desperation is such that she's throwing her own sister overboard to score points with American Talibangelists.  Her sister, Mary, is married to another woman, and Lizard is now saying that she disapproves of gay and lesbian couples having the right to marry.  Fortunately, Mary and her spouse Heather weren't afraid to push back on Lizard:
"Liz - this isn't just an issue on which we disagree - you're just wrong - and on the wrong side of history."-- Mary on her Facebook page.
"Liz has been a guest in our home, has spent time and shared holidays with our children, and when Mary and I got married in 2012 - she didn't hesitate to tell us how happy she was for us. To have her now say she doesn't support our right to marry is offensive to say the least.  I can't help but wonder how Liz would feel if as she moved from state to state, she discovered that her family was protected in one but not the other."-- Heather on her Facebook page.
The jab at Lizard moving "from state to state" refers to a major issue in the Wyoming primary, because Lizard is seen as someone who has lived most of her life in the Washington suburbs of Virginia, not Wyoming.  Well played!

(We'd love to be flies on the wall at the Very Cheney Family Thanksgiving this year!)
