A new poll indicates that Senate Minority Leader and human-turtle hybrid Sen. Mitch "Missy" McConnell is running neck-and--neck with President Obama in Kentucky as far as their approval. While it's no surprise that the President's approval rating isn't great in conservative Kain-tuck, it's absolutely wonderful that Missy McConnell's are dropping like a sack of rocks in a lake.
Missy is facing a teabagger challenge in the Rethuglican primary this spring, so his Dem challenger, Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, is looking better and better as a real underdog possiblilty for unseating Missy as his "brand" is further diminished and as the wingnuts are divided.
