With brutally low temperatures affecting much of the U.S., it was only a matter of time when the climate change deniers came out in force to say, "
hey, it's really cold…in winter!" The Fuxers have jumped on the sub-zero temperatures like iron filings on a magnet (
question: where were they when we were setting record heat temperatures earlier this year, the 5th warmest year globally on record?), and their chief meteorologist
Donald "Rump" Trump thinks it's
proof positive that climate change is a hoax. Rump and other deniers are a seasonal phenomenon: they hibernate in heat of the summer, and emerge in the cold of the winter. They also don't comprehend the difference between
weather and
climate. It's like taking one baseball player's at bat in one inning and saying that's all you need to know about baseball's 120-plus years of history.
When the vast majority of climatologists and scientists say that the
earth's atmosphere is warming due mainly to man's activities, we'll take their opinion over that of Dr. Rump, and bundle up against the cold. It's winter, after all.
