Public officials who were previously intimidated by Gov. Chris "Krispykreme" Christie's power are now stepping forward with their accounts of strong-arm politics. The allegations made by Hoboken mayor Dawn Zimmer are now in the hands of Federal prosecutors, who will determine whether Federal laws were broken in an alleged case of extortion by the Christie administration. In the meantime, Krispykreme wants us to believe he "didn't know nuttin'," but is "very, very sad."
UPDATE: Krispykreme's underboss Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno denies Mayor Zimmer's allegations in an appearance where she refused to take questions from the media about her role in the Hoboken caper. The U.S. Attorney will sort things out and put people under oath.
