Readin' Writin' and Racism

Not long ago, Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal was revealed to be an anonymous internet "sock puppet" on blogs, who used racial slurs toward blacks and Hispanics ("No Spanish newspapers...Speak English"), demeaning the poor ("lazy pigs"), and other behavior one wouldn't associate with a state school superintendent.  Yesterday, he apologized for his misbehavior in a teary press conference.  However, sources say that he will not step down as superintendent.

We have career advice for the Hupper:  get out of the education field entirely because you can't educate if you're angry at the people you serve.  Try a gig on talk radio, where you can rant freely, and leave the blog snark and heated commentary to professionals, or, in our case, amateurs.  You're welcome.
