"Good" Guy With Gun Behaving Badly

On the first day that a "guns everywhere" law went into effect in Georgia, two gun-toters were involved in a confrontation at a convenience store in Valdosta that ended in the police arresting Richard "Quick Draw" Williams on a disorderly conduct charge.  Quick Draw had a gun holstered on his hip when another many carrying a holstered gun entered the store.  Quick Draw pulled his gun and demanded to see the other man's open carry permit, which the other man refused to do and exited the store after making his purchase. The man then called police.

As Valdosta's Police Chief commented, “This is an example of my concern with the new gun law that people will take the law into their own hands which we will not tolerate." (emphasis added) Tell that to the "good guys with guns" that see themselves as cops, judge and jury.

BONUS:  Target stores are "respectfully" asking patrons in open-carry jurisdictions not to carry firearms in Target stores, even if they have a legal right to do so, saying that guns in theirs stores go against a family friendly atmosphere.
