Full Appeals Court to Hear ACA Case
Last July's ruling by a Republican-appointed duo of Federal appellate court judges that subsidies offered by the Affordable Care Act could not be offered universally will be re-heard by the full Circuit Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. As many as 13 judges, the majority of whom were appointed by Democratic Presidents, will rule whether the provision providing subsidies under "Obamacare" can only be applied to states with their own health insurance exchanges. The controversy stems from an apparent oversight in the legislative language, which wing nut opponents of affordable health insurance have seized upon to try to derail health care for millions.
