A propos of the appalling grand jury decisions not to indict police officers in both the Ferguson and Staten Island killings (see post below), there are increasing calls for police to wear body cameras.
The always humorous Andy Borowitz has another idea:
On the heels of an initiative to provide police departments with body cameras, there is growing support for a plan to supply grand-jury members with eyes, advocates for the plan said on Wednesday. (our emphasis)Eyes for grand juries would be a good start. Also consciences and souls for prosecutors would be helpful.
