Mid-Week Song

Our featured song by Phil Collins reached #1 on the charts 25 years ago.  It's a fitting song for the Christmas season, because it reminds us that the relative "paradise" that we live in with food and shelter is not shared by hundreds of millions of people worldwide:
She calls out to the man on the street
'Sir, can you help me?
It's cold and I've nowhere to sleep
Is there somewhere you can tell me?'
He walks on, doesn't look back
He pretends he can't hear her
He starts to whistle as he crosses the street
Seems embarrassed to be there
