The Republican War on Women, Meathead Edition

South Carolina Rethuglican State Senator Thomas "Meathead" Corbin was just letting his right-wing, good ol' boy id loose when he referred to women as "a lesser cut of meat" to a female Rethuglican colleague at a legislative dinner earlier this week.  Meathead Corbin is apparently known for making offensive comments about women and others that he deems a "lesser cut."  Although they attempt to hide these views from the general public, the right-wing Rethuglican base and their elected officials are filled with volcanic anger at advancements made by women and minorities, and rage against the growing acceptance of immigrant populations and marriage equality.

It's accepted in countless studies of anti-social behavior that offensive comments like Meathead Corbin's reveal a deep insecurity about his own masculinity by needing to "dominate" or humiliate women verbally.  It's a short step from that behavior to physical abuse.  Pity his spouse.  He needs counseling in the worst way.
