More On Walker's "Dark Money" Problem

Last Tuesday, we commented on the unfolding "dark money" problem that faces Wisconsin Governor and Koch Industries' employee of the year Scott "Koch Head" Walker.  Investigative reporter Michael Isikoff revealed the connections between big Koch Head donors like home improvement magnate John Menard, Jr. and favorable legislation and other pay-to-play schemes.  Isikoff's investigation has also revealed a sweetheart relationship between Koch Head and a "advocacy group," ironically called Watchdog.org, whose Wisconsin Reporter affiliate routinely defends Koch Head against charges of corruption.  Watchdog.org's parent company has received 95% of its funding in years past from the conservative Donors Group.  It's an intentionally complicated web of interactions and political payoffs, made more opaque by the notorious Citizens United case which opened the floodgates of plutocrat money into politics.
