The Dems' Question Quote of the Day
"Democrats must keep their eyes on the prize. 'Who cares more about increasing the wages of working Americans?' is a debate question the Republicans can never win. The Democrats have to make sure the election is about that question." -- (emphasis added) Michael Tomasky, explaining in detail how this will be a winning argument for Dems -- if they'll only run on it in 2016. The ballooning gap between the shrinking middle class and the economic elites since 1979 is something that threatens our democracy. Rethuglicans know who pulls their strings: plutocrat money is already polluting the political process through massive infusions of dark money, which buys deceitful political ads and armies of political hacks and lobbyists to maintain the status quo.
