Weekend Unfinished Music
When we were a bit younger, we heard Franz Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony (#8 in B Minor) and immediately fell in love. It was performed by Fritz Reiner and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and was recorded in the early 1960's. Because this was the album cover
we always associated the symphony with Spring. Now that we're well into Spring, we'd like to share the symphony's second movement, here played by the Vienna Philharmonic. Enjoy your weekend.
