Republican Family Values: Spending Time With The Family Edition

Another self-righteous tea bagging Rethuglican politician has been caught in a sex-related scandal.  Indiana House Majority Leader Jud "Dud" McMillin resigned following the emergence of a sex tape that was sent along with a text message from his phone.  In his resignation letter, Dud actually said that he wanted to …. wait for it….spend more time with his family. Bwahahaha. We're sure his wife would like to spend some time with him, probably in a locked room with a baseball bat in her hands.

Dud's tale is that his phone was stolen in Canada for 24 hours, and he asked everyone to disregard anything they might have received (you know, like sexytime stuff) because it was probably sent by a Canadian perv or something something yadda yadda.  As with so many other Rethuglican hypocrites, Dud has a long record of Bible thumping in politics, most recently pushing the "religious objection" bill that would allow businesses to deny service to same sex couples, and promoting drug testing for people on public assistance (but not state legislators). That's today's right-wing Republican / New Confederate / Stupid Party for you.

UPDATE:  According to reports, the sex video showed Dud and his Canadian "girlfriend", and was sent to everyone on his contact list. Karma bites.
