The duped are beginning to wake up to the con. But it remains to be seen whether their tribal instincts and long-simmering hatreds of "the other" will override their feelings of betrayal.
Conservatives suffer from battered spouse syndrome, now matter how bad the Republican Party treats them, now matter how many years go by with them saying Obama/Hitler is fundamentally destroying America and siding with Our Enemies (while not really doing anything about it), conservatives continue to dutifully march in and scrub the GOPs floors, while massaging the flabby jowled, wide-waisted, chicken hearted Republican prostates.
