Moments ago, Republican presidential candidate and House of Bush scion John Ellis "J.E.B.!" Bush stood before his supporters and announced that he is suspending his campaign for the Republican nomination, after finishing in the bottom half of the 6 person field of candidates in the South Carolina primary. Bush's low finish in South Carolina was his third defeat, after losing in Iowa and New Hampshire. Notably, J.E.B.! spent more than any of his Rethuglican rivals, some $84 million, having raised (campaign and Super PAC combined) some $150 million. That's millions in big donor money that's up the chimney in smoke. So sad.....bwahahaha.
He had his brother, Dumbya, and mother campaigning with him in the final days of the campaign, but Rethuglican voters clearly have turned the page on the Bush Dynasty. So, as a parting salute to hapless J.E.B.!, please clap.
