Mid-Week Crush Song
Occasionally, a band comes along with a sound that's hard to categorize. New York-based, but Texas influenced, FORQ (fork) put themselves in a "jazz / groove" genre, which after listening to their most recent album "Batch," would include contemporary jazz, pop, rock and classical forms of music. Two of their members founded the band Snarky Puppy, which just won a collaborative Grammy for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. FORQ's bassist, Michael League, will be producing an album for folk rock icon David Crosby in the coming year. Their work, to say the least, is eclectic. Off of their recent album, here is today's song, "Crush."
