A Response To Tailgunner Ted's Police State Idea

As we noted yesterday, theocrat-with-a-God-complex Sen. "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz (Wingnut- Canada) said it would be a great idea to set up "security" patrols in Muslim neighborhoods here in the U.S. (you know, sort of like the Nazis did in the Jewish Warsaw ghetto). Well, New York City's tough police chief Bill Bratton was having none of that unconstitutional demagoguery from the Tailgunner:

“I would remind the senator that he lives in the United States of America, and the statements he made today is why he’s not gonna become the president of this country. We don’t need a president that doesn’t respect the values that form the foundation of this country.” (emphasis added)

Indeed, it's one reason why Tailgunner Ted is unfit for the Presidency, and remains a very dangerous and deceitful man.
