Letters We Wish We'd Written Dept. - The "Modest" Donald Trump


From this morning's once great Washington Post Bezos Bugle:
According to the July 7 news article “Eric Trump says his father gives ‘millions and millions’ to charitable causes,” Eric Trump said his father’s modesty prevents him from publicly revealing his generous charitable contributions totaling in the millions of dollars. Is that the same modesty that motivates his father, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, to slap his name on buildings, golf courses, casinos, airlines, board games, magazines, mortgages, universities, colognes, mattresses, menswear, vodka and steaks? 
Or is that the same modesty on display by the self-proclaimed world’s least racist person, best dealmaker, best wall-builder, best foreign-policy analyst and, of course, greatest president ever, if elected?
