Mid-Week Spoonful Twofer

It's going to be three or four days of much needed rain here (starting already!), so we thought of this 1966 song from The Lovin' Spoonful, "Rain on the Roof" (which is about a "summer shower," but let's not split hairs).  Since it's hard to play just one Spoonful song, we're doubling up with another hit from 1967, "Six O'Clock."  Hope you enjoy.

I was a hardcore Beatlemaniac, however, I had a soft spot for John Sebastian. Maybe it was the John Lennon glasses.
I had never seen the "Rain" video!!
So, Thank You. Thank You, very much!!!!

FM - Sebastian's a great songwriter and musician; the "Rain on the Roof" video is something unusual because not many vids were made in those pre-MTV days in conjunction with singles... Thanks for the comments!

One more thing about JS: Songwriting indeed. 'Welcome Back Kotter' was soo right on!
He nailed Mr. "Kot-ter'" & the Sweathogs!!!! Damn, I LOVED that show!! Each one with their own personalities.I wonder if this would be considered "racist" today? I would hope not!
Oh, and that John Travolta feller was kinda "cute".
Thanks again, guys!!
