First, if the reference to "Syrian refugees" is in the context of the suspect in the New York/ New Jersey bombings, it's a typically stupid Trump lie (the suspect came to this country as a child from Afghanistan). More importantly, the statistics show that an American has (according to the far- right Cato Institute) a 1 in 3.64 billion chance of being killed in a terrorist attack by a refugee - far greater odds than of a person dying from eating a tainted Trump steak ("allegedly!").
Likening refugees from the horrors of war and terror to poisoned candy isn't just a Junior thing. In fact, he borrowed this meme (as he has others) from the racist alt- right.
