Rethuglican Crime Blotter, Domestic Assault File

Just in time for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The Rethuglican / New Confederate / Stupid / Shooters Party may want to look into anger management training for their political candidates (forget neo-fascist rage gorilla Donald "Rump" Trump, he's beyond repair). Case in point: Bradly Gerten, a Rethug candidate for the Minnesota state legislature, was arrested last Saturday on a felony charge of domestic assault involving strangulation (and another misdemeanor assault charge) when he knocked his wife to the floor and strangled his stepson over some pizza slices in his rural Burnsville, MN home. Gerten works as a probation officer and a youth sports referee (don't argue a call with him, kids).

We hope he gets help. Meanwhile, the incumbent Dem he sought to unseat, Rep. Sandra Masin, looks like a safe bet to retain the seat.
