The dolts who voted for neo- fascist con artist Donald "Rump" Trump in the hope that he would "drain the swamp" of the lobbyists and Republican insiders who created whatever swamp exists in Washington, DC, should take a close look at who the shitgibbon has on his transition team:
New reports this week make clear that the president-elect’s transition team is packed with the very veterans of the GOP establishment he spent months railing against, as well as with the lobbyists he vowed never to allow near his administration.Only the most credulous cretins could not have anticipated this. Oh, did we say "credulous cretins?" We meant "Republican base."
Meanwhile, all those Republican Congresscritters who a week ago were running to get as far away from Rump as their little chicken legs could carry them, have now decided they're all in with their authoritarian master. To commemorate the occasion of their capitulation, they were provided with their own "Make America Great Again" hats at a meeting this morning of the House Republican caucus deep in the swamp:
