As Inauguration Day nears, neo-fascist con man Donald "Rump" Trump has postponed Thursday's announcement of his "plan" to insulate the Presidency from his business conflicts of interest. Who would be surprised if he never did? He said last night that he would turn his company over to his two amoral sons
Whatever the pathological liar says next month, he will almost certainly be in violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution the instant he finishes swearing to uphold the Constitution. He clearly didn't expect to face this problem, since he didn't think he'd win, only to build his brand. But, the complete narcissist that he is, he won't sell off his branded assets that define him and fill his empty soul, violation of the Constitution be damned.

#Trump postpones press conference where he was supposed to deal with his conflicts of interest. Bets on how many times he'll push this off. https://t.co/Kc8w6cBd7S— EJ Dionne (@EJDionne) December 12, 2016
He's not "leaving." He's maintaining full ownership. He'll violate the Constitution on Day 1 https://t.co/1entcjt7oX— Judd Legum (@JuddLegum) December 13, 2016
Basically a game of chicken between Trump and the Constitution. Going to be in violation of Emoluments Clause on day 1. GOP: <crickets> https://t.co/erO9IlQjhc— Brendan Nyhan (@BrendanNyhan) December 13, 2016
