Kick In The Shins Mid-Week Song

Portland-based indie rock band The Shins first gained notice for their song "New Slang" which was featured in the 2004 sleeper movie hit "Garden State" with Natalie Portman and Zach Braff. Their growing fan base propelled their top ten hit "Simple Song" to the top of the adult alternative charts in 2012. Their fifth studio album, "Heartworms," is scheduled for release in March 2017, and a track off of that album is our mid-week song: "Name For You."
