Glasgow, Scotland's own synth / indie pop trio CHVRCHES has been around the British music scene for nearly six years, and have hit all of the major international music venues from Austin's SXSW, to Leeds in England, to California's Coachella Music Festival in between recording sessions. Their musical style has echoes of everyone from the Eurythmics to Depeche Mode. Lead singer Lauren Mayberry is a journalist by training and freelanced before forming the band.
