In an interview with Fox "News" meathead Bill "O'Liely" O'Reilly, neo- fascist Putin poodle Donald "Rump" Trump got into an exchange about Russian autocrat Vladimir "Vlad the Invader" Putin (embedded in tweet below):
O'Reilly: “Putin’s a killer.”— Bradd Jaffy (@BraddJaffy) February 4, 2017
Trump: “...we’ve got a lot of killers. What do you think—our country’s so innocent?” pic.twitter.com/OVR4XBJq1b
Once again, the question must be: What do the Russians have on Rump that have him kissing Putin's ass at every opportunity? His refusal to release his tax returns simply adds to the sense of "where there's smoke, there's a raging inferno." To us, that's pretty strong prima facie evidence of some fearsome extortion/ leverage going on there. That's why we need to continue to focus on the investigations into Russia's involvement in the 2016 election and ties to the Rump campaign and business interests.
Meanwhile, the responses from left and right to Rump's remarks were... killer:
OBAMA: America is imperfect— Daniel Lin (@DLin71) February 5, 2017
GOP: TREASON
TRUMP: America is like a murderous thug
GOP: Shield your eyes in the presence of this patriot
If Obama had said it, Hannity and Ingraham would have called for his impeachment.— John Podhoretz (@jpodhoretz) February 5, 2017
I can't wait for the @SpeakerRyan statement defending Trump issued from the small room in Trump's basement where he now resides https://t.co/mAi5OMa3Fe— Dan Pfeiffer (@danpfeiffer) February 5, 2017
Take off that flag lapel pin, you’re soiling it. https://t.co/wu6dI1TGcv— David Frum (@davidfrum) February 5, 2017
You won't see many conservatives defend Trump's Russia comment. They'll be silent, but they'll know they'd race to Fox to condemn a Dem.— David French (@DavidAFrench) February 5, 2017
"I mean Bill, who amongst us hasn't poisoned a critic?"— Schooley (@Rschooley) February 5, 2017
Trump puts US on moral par with Putin's Russia. Never in history has a President slandered his country like this. https://t.co/LrP8ycG1Y9— Bret Stephens (@StephensWSJ) February 5, 2017
His point was not: America should be more judicious in its use of force, it was, when Putin kills people that's morally acceptable— Mazel Tov Cocktail (@AdamSerwer) February 5, 2017
