What Have The Evildoers Been Up To This Week?

Beyond the un- American Muslim ban fiasco, we're trying to keep score of the heinous actions of neo- fascist dimbulb Donald "Rump" Trump and his craven plutocrat- loving Republican enablers in Congress in their rush toward an American dystopia, but it's been hard to keep up with the chaos. Nevertheless, here are some links to stories that demonstrate what happens when you let the foxes into the henhouse.

-- You allow pollutants from coal mining into peoples' water sources;

-- You green light fossil fuel corporations to bribe foreign governments to advance their business interests (same link as above);

-- You block a conflict of interest rule that requires financial managers to manage retirement accounts in the best interests of their clients;

-- You begin the process of dismantling Dodd- Frank, enacted in 2010 after the last Republican- enabled financial meltdown on Wall Street (brought to you by Rump's Chief Economic Advisor, and until recently President and CEO of Goldman Sachs, Gary Cohn).

Well, that's enough to give us all headaches this morning.
