There should be multiple firings over this, as well as loss of business and a lawsuit, but abuse appears to be a corporate pattern:

This comes less than a month after United Airlines barred two teenage girls wearing leggings from boarding a flight, saying they were traveling under company benefit rules.

So, this gentleman went thru tsa screening, check-in ,boarding pass & seating til UA realized they overbooked? REALLY? 2017.
