Apparently no one in the White (Supremacist) House wants to tell their Dear Leader to keep his little fingers off of the Twitter machine because he's sabotaging himself. Recall that state attorney generals in Virginia, Hawaii and Maryland used his own tweets and campaign speeches to convince Federal courts that what bigoted demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump wanted was a religious test imposed on immigration in violation of the Constitution. He's at it again, using the attacks in London to instill fear and to drum up support for a Muslim travel ban, taking swipes at the courts and his own Justice Department via Twitter:
People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 5, 2017
The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 5, 2017
The Justice Dept. should ask for an expedited hearing of the watered down Travel Ban before the Supreme Court - & seek much tougher version!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 5, 2017
He thinks his best approach is going back to the original, uniformly-rejected executive order, which was blatantly discriminatory and unconstitutional. It's not only the sign of profound ignorance, but of a narcissistic and angry temperament that won't move on from a failure. Sad!
BONUS: Former Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal, a counsel for Hawaii which is challenging Rump's travel ban in court, mocked Rump in this delicious tweet:
Its kinda odd to have the defendant in HawaiivTrump acting as our co-counsel.We don't need the help but will take it! pic.twitter.com/8ehqkLkOY2— Neal Katyal (@neal_katyal) June 5, 2017
