Mid-Week National Song

Indie alternative band The National has been playing to an increasing audience since forming in 1999, with six acclaimed albums -- and soon a seventh -- to their credit. They're active in philanthropy and were on the campaign trail with President Obama in both of his election campaigns. Their newest album, "Sleep Well Beast," is coming out on September 8, but they released a lovely track from that album yesterday, the wistful, waltz-tempo "Carin At The Liquor Store." Enjoy.
So blame it on me
I really don't care
It's a foregone conclusion
I'm already seeing stars in the air
It's a foregone conclusion
