Another 12 to 20 inches of rain is expected to fall in coastal Texas over the next 3 days as the remnant of Hurricane Harvey stalls overhead. Many parts of Houston -- the U.S.'s fourth largest city -- are submerged in waist-high water. Reservoirs are bursting. Tens of thousands and counting have been displaced.
The America Red Cross is providing aid to that area. To help their efforts, go to their website.
And Traitor Trump is bragging about the size of his hurricane, probably angry at NOAA for not naming it after him.
ReplyDeleteGene -- The "dark state" / permanent government that he despises will manage the disaster response, while he'll take credit for any success and deflect any blame if things don't go right.
ReplyDeleteSo President Psychopath went to Houston and thanked the crowd for being there as if it was one of his rallies. Did he not know they were a captive audience?
ReplyDeleteI'd you'really looking to go local with a donation, HoustonFood Bank.org is one of the best. They're all volunteers so the overhead is minimal, they work in evacuation centers, and because they're local, they also know where the grub is most needed after folks are re-settled
