This Is How It's Done, And Who We Need

Great message, great candidate.

WOW.

Contribute to her campaign here, and thank her for her service.

BONUS:  While McGrath went to the USNA and chose to serve in the military for 20 years, her opponent, Republican Rep. Andy "Candy" Barr, comes from a Kentucky "blue blood" family and enjoyed the comforts of frat life at the University of Kentucky -- where he criticized Bill Clinton for evading the draft, though he himself never volunteered or served. While at UK, the privileged scamp also was charged with possession of a fake I.D. and, on a separate occasion, with public intoxication. As the ad notes, he's a protege of the inexcusable Mitch McConnell. Character! Principles!

This is a great ad, and she seems like a natural. My only edit, were I asked, would be that instead of saying that her mother "persevered" in the face of polio, I think it would be better to say that she "persisted." I know that it wouldn't resonate with any but the most in-the-weeds followers of politics, but I think it would be a nice shout-out in a Kentucky race regarding McConnell's treatment of Elizabeth Warren.

Jonny -- That would have been a fitting touch, absolutely. Maybe someone advising her could suggest that minor change. It would definitely tweak McConnell. Thanks for your comment.

Killer ad, absoluely killer!!!!

Diva -- Wouldn't it be great if she ran against McConnell in the future and won? "Yet, she persisted."
