“I’m not sure about that specifically, but I think if there's ever a moment where we feel someone's broken the law, particularly if they're the head of the FBI, I think that's something that certainly should be looked at.” (emphasis added)Comey is still a witness in the investigation -- indeed, he's testified to the Senate and possibly to the grand jury -- so a case could be made that the bungling Sanders and her boss are trying to tamper with a witness (Comey) in an ongoing criminal / national security investigation by suggesting his future prosecution be considered. That's a felony. Her innuendo also sends a warning to those waiting to testify: we're going to smear you and bring you down if you go against Rump. As to the suggestion that Comey broke the law, he didn't. Simply leaking information about Rump's clumsy attempts to derail the Russiagate investigation doesn't constitute a "crime," and the information isn't classified.
Perhaps it's time for Huckabee Sanders to lawyer up.
