Mid-Week Bangles Songs

Rising from LA's folk/pop/rock "Paisley Underground" milieu in the early 1980s, the all-female band The Bangles quickly showed that they weren't a "novelty" act but were true, highly-talented hit makers. Behind charismatic lead singer Susanna Hoffs and her chiming Rickenbacker guitar, the 4-member group charted with hits like "Walk Like An Egyptian," "Eternal Flame," and a cover of Simon and Garfunkle's "Hazy Shade of Winter." Their 1986 hits "Manic Monday," which was written for them by Prince, and "If She Knew What She Wants" are our mid-week songs. Enjoy.
