What Will The RNC Do With Donations To Sexual Harasser Trump?

After the New York Times featured a story about movie and entertainment executive Harvey Weinstein's abuse of women over decades, it was only a matter of time before he was jettisoned from the company that he co-founded. Yesterday, the remaining board of directors (including his brother Bob) fired Weinstein from the Weinstein Company. Weinstein's history of sexual harassment was apparently well known in the entertainment business (and the subject of several settlements out of court). A handful of courageous women including Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan spoke out long ago, but were dismissed or marginalized in fear of Weinstein's power. Some prominent artists are just now speaking out against his disgusting behavior.

While he was a significant Democratic contributor, Weinstein's money is now being donated by Dems to organizations fighting sexual harassment and violence against women. Of course, Rethuglicans are cynically trying to make an issue over the contributions, despite the fact that the leader of their party, lifelong misogynist and self-proclaimed p*ssy grabber Donald "Rump" Trump, is notorious for his inappropriate (and illegal) unwanted advances toward women. But we're not hearing calls from the Rethuglican National Committee to give donations made to Rump's campaign to those same types of organizations, are we? Don't hold your breath, just your nose.
