President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser has been charged with lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian government, an extraordinary development in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Michael Flynn is scheduled to appear in federal court in D.C. at 10:30 a.m., where he’s expected to plead guilty to one count of making a false statement to FBI agents.It's hard to avoid the assumption that Flynn has cut a deal to plead guilty to a lesser charge in exchange for the goods on one or more of the rats infesting the White (Supremacist) House.
