One day after African-Americans in Alabama gave Democrat Doug Jones the boost he needed to win the Senate special election, narcissistic bigot Donald "Rump" Trump gave the gate to his evil black fig leaf Omarosa Manigault Newman. She had been in the largely ceremonial role of communications director for his Office of Public Outreach.
As far as the resigned/ fired distinction:
Although the official White House statement is that she resigned, multiple sources are reporting that Newman had to be physically removed from the White House grounds after being fired by Chief of Staff John Kelly. (our emphasis)Some of her "fans" on Twitter marked the departure thusly:
Trump just fired Omarosa. Maybe he is mad that #BlackWomen cause the defeat of pedophile #RoyMoore. pic.twitter.com/0fV2HxfUla— Denise (@browncdngirl) December 13, 2017
Omarosa once justified her association with Trump by saying “If you’re not at the table you’re on the menu,” but couldn’t understand why everyone was staring at her with knives in hand.— jelani cobb (@jelani9) December 13, 2017
Trump: Why are all these Black women voting for Doug Jones?— Christopher Bouzy (@cbouzy) December 13, 2017
Omarosa: I do not know Mr. President.
Trump: Do you know them? Are they friends of yours?
Omarosa: No Mr. President.
Trump: DO SOMETHING!
Proof we’re living inside a graphic novel: Omarosa, the most prominent black woman in Trumpworld (sorry Rayon and Cubic Zirconia) gets fired the same day black women snatch a U.S. Senate seat like a loose wig off Trump and Bannon.— Joy Reid (@JoyAnnReid) December 13, 2017
This is not the first firing for Omarosa from Trump!— AprilDRyan (@AprilDRyan) December 13, 2017
But the best reaction of all was on Brooke Baldwin's CNN show earlier today, when lawyer, commentator and political analyst Angela Rye lost it:
