Public Opposition to Republican Wealthfare Tax Bill Increasing

As coin-operated Rethuglicans ram through their tax giveaway to their donor class, a new CNN poll shows that the public opposition to their tax legislation is increasing. In just a month, disapproval of the Rethuglican giveaway to multi-national corporations and the top 1% has grown from 45% disapproval in November to 55% disapproval today. Sixty-six percent of Americans see the legislation as benefitting the wealthy rather than the middle class, with 37% saying that if the bill passes their family will be worse off. The poll also showed that neo-fascist con man Donald "Rump" Trump's approval rating is at 35%, the lowest point so far in CNN's polling.

Following the bill's passage, the amount of lying by the Rethuglicans about the nature of the bill and its impact on the middle class will expand exponentially, as they face voters in 2018. Signs are that the voters will be a lot smarter than the Rethugs think they are.
