Weekend Edges Off Music

After the horrible but utterly predictable events of the past week, we might need to have the edges taken off in time for the weekend.  Two beautiful songs performed by the great jazz saxophonist John Coltrane can do just that. "Naima" is a 1959 Coltrane composition honoring his first wife of the same name; it's from the album "Giant Steps." "I'm Old Fashioned" is from his 1957 album "Blue Train," and, like "Naima," is another jazz standard.  Relax and enjoy. (h/t Silver Spring Bureau Chief Brian)
