Mid-Week Song

Portland's The Decemberists have been featured here over the years. Their indie-folk sound, propelled by singer Conor Meloy, draws some inspiration from British and Irish folk tunes, but overwhelmingly reflects American folklore and musical themes. Their 8th album, "I'll Be Your Girl," will be released on March 16. A track from that album, "Once In My Life," is our mid-week song. Enjoy.
